Writing Sequences
When students begin creative writing, one technique they learn
is how to organize their thoughts sequentially. They will choose their
topic and begin with a topic sentence. Then they will write their
narrative in the order that the events occurred, using words such as first,
second, third, next, then, and finally. In their last paragraph
or sentence, they will conclude their narrative with a summary of what they have
written.

Teaching Tip
Tip for parents: Make sure your child has a good breakfast

and fats as much as possible. Good nutrition helps the brain work better.
